UPDATE! Manee-Seguine Homestead
Landmarks Preservation Commission just informed PLSI that growth on the property around the Landmarked 1690 building has been trimmed back in anticipation of next week when the roof will be tarped and the outer walls shored up. The City is hopeful that after one more round of litigation it will be able to take possession of the fourth oldest house in NYC. Preservation activists are standing by to establish a "Friends of" organization to care for Manee-Seguine and to tell its story to the world.
