Preservation Awards

The annual awards ceremony organized by the Preservation League of Staten Island, honors individuals, community activists and owners of buildings which have been or are currently being restored or preserved. It celebrates their efforts in preserving the unique qualities of a structure, using materials and construction techniques that are both appropriate and sensitive to the architecture and style of their historic building.

You can nominate buildings at any time for the 2010 awards program. Send details of your nomination to <info@preservestatenisland.org>.

 AWARD winners receive a bronze plaque and an awards certificate.  Photos of the recent award recipients, the historic homes and structures will be highlighted on the PLSI website soon.
